About Light & Hope Counseling Center, LLC
My name is Yamila Rosales, and I am the founder of Light & Hope Counseling Center, LLC and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. From a very early age, I felt a strong calling to help others, particularly individuals navigating emotional pain, trauma, grief, and difficult life experiences. This calling has guided my personal journey and professional path and ultimately led to the creation of Light & Hope Counseling Center.
Light & Hope Counseling Center was established with the belief that healing begins when individuals feel safe, seen, and supported. My goal in creating this practice is to offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where individuals and families can explore their experiences, process emotional challenges, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. I believe therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about understanding one’s story, reconnecting with inner strength, and restoring hope at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
In my work, I take a collaborative and empathetic approach, walking alongside clients as they navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and overwhelming stress. I recognize that these experiences can deeply impact a person’s sense of self and well-being, and I strive to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.
Light & Hope Counseling Center is grounded in the belief that healing occurs within a trusting therapeutic relationship. Each individual’s journey is unique, and therapy is tailored to meet clients where they are, honoring their experiences while supporting emotional growth, resilience, and balance. My commitment is to provide a space where individuals feel empowered to engage in their healing process and move forward with greater clarity, strength, and hope.
